Have you ever noticed that Billie Eilish never wears tight-fitting clothes? She is always in loose-fitting clothes, and apparently, body shamers have been on her case to the extent that she decided to address it during a recent concert.
The young musician is fed up with people judging her or making conclusions based on how she chooses to dress. In this case, baggy or loose-fitting attires are her preference, and she believes that nobody should judge her for it. Unfortunately, that is not the case because she constantly receives criticism about it.
Eilish was performing at Miami’s American Airlines Arena on Monday evening when she decided to address the matter. It was part of her world tour dubbed, “Where do we go?” and the tour is currently in North America. The 18-year-old artist used the interlude to take a jab at those that criticize or body shame her based on how she chooses to dress.
“The body I was born with, is it not what you wanted? If what I wear is comfortable, I am not a woman. If I shed the layers, I am a slut,” stated Eilish.

This is not the first time that Elish has addressed her choice of attire. She previously noted that she decided to wear loose clothing even when on stage so that she can avoid being objectified. In one of her statements, she pointed out that nobody can form an opinion about the shape of her body because they have never seen her in fitting clothes, and so they do not know.
The 18-year-old star also revealed in an interview that her decision is often mistaken as an attempt to avoid being sexualized. In reality, her decision to wear loose clothes is her own special way of trying not to become the stereotypical woman. Numerous other female celebrities have previously opened up about their struggles with the social pressure surrounding body image. Many of them feel like society wants them to dress or look a certain way yet, everyone has the freedom of wearing or looking however they want to look.
