However, Katy Perry and fiancé, Orlando Bloom seems to be having the most thrilling moments. The 35-year-old songstress who is heavily pregnant, was spotted in Santa Barbara, California, on Sunday celebrating Memorial Day alongside her 43-year-old actor. The duo was accompanied by Perry’s father Keith Hudson and a handful of family and friends.
Katy Revealed Her Pregnancy in March
Dressed in a cute floral swimsuit, it was very easy to notice Perry’s growing baby bump as she walked around the beach catching some sun. With excitement written all over her face, wide-brimmed straw hat and black sunnies paired her summer outfit.
It is during the release of her music video of “Never Worn White” when Perry dropped the bombshell; that she was pregnant. The news would even become more exciting for family and friends when the couple revealed the baby’s gender. It is a baby girl.
Dealing With the Nerves of Being a First-Time Parent
The American Idol and the Carnival Row Star had their engagement in February 2019. Since then, the pair have had to deal with a different state of relationship, which had a share of ups and downs. Nonetheless, their drive has changed since they discovered they were pregnant.
Despite the scary nerves of being a parent, Perry has admitted that she is learning to be a mother very fast, given that “She’s always wanted to be a mom.” Besides, the lockdown she says is working in her favor because she has humble time preparing. Nonetheless, the singer did speak about her prenatal depression. She said she is a very active person, and she breaks down when she sees her swollen toes.
Meanwhile, she is quarantining with Orlando Bloom’s nine-year-old son, Flynn Bloom, from her ex-wife Miranda Kerr. As Perry and Bloom await the delivery of their bundle of joy sometimes in the summer months, they have continued to receive messages of congratulations from their fans and other celebrities, the likes of Grammy-winning rapper Cardi B.
