Lizzo has been a target for body shamers, but she recently uploaded a TikTok video in which she called out her critics, telling them that she does not work out for them.

Lizzo has joined the list of celebrities that have hit back at body shamers for attacking them based on how they look. Lizzo’s TikTok video, which is going viral, features her exercising on a workout bike and other exercises such as squats and jumping rope. She also did a voice-over on the video, through which she addressed body shamers to put them in their place.

Hey, so I’ve been working out consistently for the last five years, and it may come as a surprise to some of y’all that I’m not working out to have your ideal body type,” stated Lizzo in the TikTok video.

One of the things that stood out about her statement to body shamers is the confidence she has in herself. The “Juice” singer told her haters that she is beautiful, strong and she does her job and we agree with her. This is the right attitude that everyone needs, rather than allowing haters to bring down their self-esteem.

Lizzo also noted in the video that being healthy is not necessarily determined by a person’s shape on the outside but also what happens in your body. She also advised people to cleanse their insides through her video.

Some of her responded positively to the TikTok video and Lizzo’s positive attitude towards her body. One Twitter user was quick to point out that Lizzo can twerk while playing the flute, proof that she is more fit than most people, including some of her critics. Another user commented about Lizzo’s impressive performance and also called out critics for their passive-aggressiveness toward her.

The singer also wrote a comment on her TikTok video calling out the social media platform for taking down videos of her in bathing suits. She pointed out the platform’s double standard for not taking down videos of other girls with bathing suits. She believes that TikTok is biased because of her physical appearance.
