Angelina Jolie, 45, and ex-husband Brad Pitt, 56, are still at it with their custody drama. The couple had been together for 12 years and married for two of those. With their divorce publicly announced in 2014, it has been nothing short of drama after drama.
This time, it heavily involves the kids. Angelina Jolie, whose love for cultural diversity we know, would like to move to Richmond in England. It’s an affluent town in South-West London where she once lived with Pitt while filming in UK. “I enjoy being out of my element. I want the children to grow up in the world, not just learning about it but living it, having friends around the world,” she said.
Of course, the 45-year old actress’ decision faced some resistance from Brad and his legal team. The mother of 6 feels she could stay with them for a short period in UK and have them fly back to their dad for a longer period in Los Angeles where he’s currently based.
Recent news has it that she is actively seeking to remove the judge overseeing the case, Judge John W. Ouderkirk. The Maleficent actress believes the judge has some business relationship with Pitt’s lawyers, which would obviously lead to a biased divorce case. Judge John W. Ouderkirk officiated the former couple’s wedding at their French estate Château Miraval in 2014.
Brad’s lawyer clapped back 6 days later with a statement saying Jolie seems desperate at this point, and it’s only their kids who will eventually be hurt most by her ‘tactical gambit’ as the case might now take longer.
Angelina believes the move to Richmond will be best for the kids both culturally and educationally. The biological kids are Shiloh, 14, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 12, and three adopted children: Maddox, 19, Pax, 16, and Zahara, 15. Her desire to move overseas has been out in the open for a long time now, and we are patiently waiting to see how the court ruling will pan out.
