In what looks like turning on a new page, Colton Underwood and Cassie Randolph have followed each other three months after their break up. Cassie, her sister Michelle Randolph, and Gregg Sulkin, Michelle’s boyfriend, have stopped following Underwood on Instagram. In return, Underwood also unfollowed Cassie and her sister.
Underwood and Cassie met during season 23 of the ABC dating series in the fall of 2018. The former couple announced their break up in May 2018. Underwood stayed with Cassie and her family in California as he recovered from Coronavirus.
Their break up has not been entirely smooth. It turned messy in July when Cassie briefly discussed their separation on The Bachelor: The Greatest Seasons — Ever. After Cassie’s virtual meeting on the show, Underwood called out his ex on Twitter, accusing her of breaking their promise of handling things maturely as they navigate the new life.
“I have nothing but good things and love and well-wishes and friendship with Cassie right now,” he said. “I love the girl and miss the girl dearly.”
Cassie Accuses Underwood of Attempting to “Monetize” Their Breakup
During her appearance on The Bachelor: The Greatest Seasons—Ever!, Cassie discussed with host Chris Harrison about the breakup. She went on to Instagram and accused the show of editing the interview. She said she said nothing about her break up or friendship to her ex.
Underwood also went on to Instagram and said that the two agreed to keep everything away from the public gallery when they broke.
“When our relationship ended, we agreed to handle things as privately as possible as we attempted to navigate our new relationship as friends. I chose to do that since we were living in this interim period, but obviously a lot changed this week.”
Cassie went on to Instagram with another post accusing her ex of making their break up a public discussion matter. She asked him to refrain from discussing the breakup and making her look bad.
She accused Underwood of trying to monetize their separation by addition to another episode to their breakup memoir. Neither Underwood nor his rep has commented on the new fall out.
