K-pop boy band ACE is following the footsteps of star Asian Agent clients such as (G)I-DLE and BLACKPINK by signing with the creative talent house for US management and global strategy.

K-pop group signs with Asian Agent for international strategy

Asian Agent focuses on promoting eastern culture in the west via localized strategic partnerships and promotions. K-pop boy band and Beat Interactive, its Korean management agency met Asian Agent in February this year in Los Angeles. ACE performed at the 2020 Academy Awards after-party commending Bong Joon-Ho the Parasite director for his historic win for best picture.

Dann Lee, Asian Agent’s Los Angeles-based chief agent stated that he is delighted to work on the expansion of ACE’s international footprint. He said that he was impressed with the band’s live vocals as well as street dancing background. Lee added that he was delighted to see how far the boys’ band has come as a boutique agency act and with them, it feels like a family

This great announcement comes at the back of the quintet’s (Donghun, Jun, Wow, Chan and Byeongkwan) plans for 2021. The group will have a packed year ahead which they have indicated will include a fashion endorsement contract and star-powered music collaboration.

ACE has received more opportunities in recent months

Danny JY Lee, Beat Interactive’s Seoul head director, said that the advantage of working with Asian Agent, is that the group can plan and execute international strategies meticulously. He added that in the last few months working with Asian Agent has resulted in significant international media attention with exciting promotional and new music opportunities.

The band debuted in 2017 with its single “Cactus” 2017 which topped at No 21 on the World Digital Songs Sales chart of Billboard. ACE has since toured the globe and released an album in 2018 and three EPs that include 2019 under Cover that debuted at No. 9 on world albums. The group indicated in a joint statement that they are excited for their next chapter to reach many fans across the globe.
