Chrissy Teigen and John Legend will always have one another’s back, as demonstrated by Chrissy’s latest tattoo tribute.
Chrissy receives “oooh Laaa” tattoo
On January 12, the Lip Sync Battle co-host took to Instagram to post a video of her getting a tattoo on her spine. She got herself a tattoo of a line from John Legend’s song “Ooh Laa.” Winter Stone did the artwork, which features the words “oooh laaa” running sideways on her spine. The video Chrissy posted includes Legend’s reaction to the artwork in which he exclaimed, “Oh my god, It’s cool.”
Chrissy appeared to be stumped when John asked her the first time when she heard the romantic tune. The song is part of John Legend’s Bigger Love album, which was nominated for the 2020 Grammy. She explained that she recalls the first time she listened to “all of Me.” Chrissy added that although she remembers the first time she listened to most of her husband’s songs, Chrissy could not recall when she heard the tune.
Interestingly, John shyly said that they were in a bedroom but this didn’t seem to ring bells for Chrissy. So he suggestively added that they had to test run the tune to ensure it worked. He explained that they had to play it on repeat the first time, which was a good way to begin a conversation.
John wrote “Oooh Laaa” for Chrissy
Winter Stone also took to Instagram to share a photo of the tattoo and captioned it “OOOOH LAAA @chrissyteigen @Johnlegend what a blessing to honour Chrissy with this ooh laa tattoo down her spine! John wrote this sexy song for her so naturally she should have it tattooed on her right?!!!”
Interestingly this is not the first time Winter Stone is working with Chrissy and John who share a two-year-old son, Miles, and four-year-old daughter Luna. He gave the couple a matching ink in April 2019, which Chrissy got one reading “John-Luna-Miles,” and John got “Chrissy-Luna-Miles.” Also, Winter previously tattooed Chrissy with her husband and kids’ dates of birth.
